Woodbury Story Estate was built in 1882. The first owner and builder of the house, Captain Woodbury was the founder of Altadena and the grower of the famous trees for "Christmas Tree Lane"..
6,700 square feet of period high victorian italianate with a touch of arts and crafts/gothic revival in the Music Ballroom. This Estate has 15 different rooms with 13 foot high ceilings on the first floor, an 1100 sq ft high beam ceiling Music Ballroom and long "hotel like" hallways on the second floor with 9 ft high ceilings and on 3rd floor there is an unique hideaway high beam ceiling attic and in the kitchen there is a special door that leads to an ultra creepy large cellar with stone tunnel and Kansas style "storm doors"..Pretty cool huh?...oh and by the way..Its totally haunted...(but in a good way not Changeling type) Cheers!
